It's time for a new previously unreleased mix from DJ AM! This will be one of quite a few to be released on the DJ AM Lives website over time. It is an Elton style mix recorded live in November of 2008 and clocking in at 1 hour and 11 minutes. It was the early part of his set that night at Foxtail Lounge in LA. The mix features a heavy dose of indie dance, 80s alternative & synth and 90s.
Foxtail Lounge, an SBE nightlife hotspot which is now closed, was located at 9077 Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood. The location now houses The Doheny Room. There are very few pics online of Foxtail Lounge that I could find but here's one that gives you an idea of the type of room it was:
